Participation in the 123 session of the IOC as part of the ANOC
Executive was of great benefit for President Cardona. This gave him
the opportunity to meet with some Presidents of International
Sports Federations. Of these meetings are highlighted the ones he
had with Mr. Olegario Vázquez Raña, President of the IF from
shooting, Tamas Ajan, President of IF Weightslifting and Don Porter
of the IF Softball.
Among the topics discussed are highlighted issues of doping,
elimination of gigantism in the Multisports games of CACSO.
He also held a meeting with Mr. Pere Miro, Director of relations
international of the CIO in the case of Netherlands Antilles. It
should be noted that during the Pan-American games in Guadalajara
will
be carry out a follow-up meeting with Mr. Olegario Vázquez
Raña.
